Seven Peaks Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment - The property is let to you for the period stated in your booking confirmation. You agree to not sublet or assign the property or any part of it. Extensions are subject to availability and approval by the property owner. Booking Deposits are required to hold a booking. Bookings without a deposit held will be subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy below (10). Deposits can be made directly on our site by credit card, or you can transfer funds into our specified bank account details. All bank deposits require the reference given during booking confirmation. All amounts are expressed and processed in Australian dollars. ($AUD)
2. Residential Amenity & Good Neighbourly Behaviour - All visitors must engage in good neighbourly behaviour, preserve the residential amenity and not be a nuisance or annoyance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers (eg. loud music, parking). Particularly noise should be kept to a minimum between 9pm and 8am. The maximum number of persons that may be accommodated at the property is specified in your booking confirmation. Excess persons will be required to vacate the property or a pro rata charge may apply if appropriate bedding is available at the property at the property owner’s discretion. Please register all guests at reception before entering the property. All properties have a strict no party and no functions policy unless prior written approval is granted by the property owner. Visitors must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition and adhere to recycling/garbage removal programs.
3. Bond/Security Deposit and Property Damage - The visitor may not remove any of the furniture or effects from the property and will be liable for any furniture or effects damaged or missing from the property. Furniture must be returned to its original position. Seven Peaks Farm Stay has the authority to deduct monies from the credit card to remedy any damage, excess cleaning, missing items, excess utilities caused by the visitor, or to invoice the visitor by email, fax or post for immediate payment.
4. Liability & Rental Guarantee - You agree to indemnify Seven Peaks Farm Stay and the property owner from any claim of loss of personal effects or financial damage direct or indirect whatsoever incurred by you in booking any cabins on the property. Please consider travel insurance.
5. General Conduct Visitors must not smoke within the property else a de-odorising fee will apply. Visitors must, every time they depart the property, securely lock doors and windows, and switch off lighting, air conditioning, fireplace, appliances, and water to conserve resources and avoid damage. The visitor shall immediately report to property manager any repairs required or damage. Pets are not permitted.
6. Right to inspect the Property and re-enter the Property - The property owner has the right to inspect the property during the booking period subject to reasonable prior notice being given unless the property owner has reasonable grounds to believe that the property is being damaged or at risk or if the visitor breaches any term of this agreement.
7. Arrival, Departure & Keys & Remote Controls - Visitors may collect the keys after 2pm on the Arrival Date unless otherwise arranged with the property manager. The property must be vacated by the Visitor and keys returned to the Seven Peaks Farm Stay by 10:00 am on the Departure Date. Failure to depart will authorise Seven Peaks Farm Stay to levy additional charges for rental and costs incurred. Visitors are responsible for keys / locks & operational remote controls. Loss of or damage to keys / locks or remote controls will incur a repair or replacement fee.
8. Cancellation by the Property Manager - In the unlikely instance that a property is withdrawn, Seven Peaks Farm Stay will endeavour to locate an alternative property of similar location and features or offer a full refund. If the visitor selects one of the alternative properties, a new booking will be created funds will be transferred to the new booking.
9. Privacy and General Law - Seven Peaks Farm Stay will not share your personal information with any third party, unless it is required to complete your booking, provide services to you, or settle your account.
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy - For cancellations made 7 or more days before arrival, a refund of all payments less the booking fee of 10% will be given. For cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival 100% of the total booking cost will be forfeited. No refunds will be given where the cancellation is made after the commencement of the accommodation period. The property owner reserves the right to terminate the booking if the visitor is in breach of any Seven Peaks agreement term. Payment of a deposit serves as acknowledgement of the terms and conditions.
Seven Peaks Property Information - SAFETY & WELLBEING
Use of gazebo areas, BBQ hut, fire pits, swings and waterways for swimming are undertaken at your own risk. The dam and creeks on Seven Peaks property are unfenced, have steep slippery sides with water lilies and/or debris rocks that can cause entrapment. The water is murky with low visibility. Minors (children under the age of 18 years) are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians and must be supervised at all times. Parents to be especially diligent in the close supervision of young children who are unable to swim. FIRE PIT, BBQ’s & PICNIC AREAS - These areas are provided for the enjoyment of all guests. We ask you to respect these areas by – Observing signage advising of use & restrictions. Cleaning up after use and removing all rubbish. Limiting unnecessary noise as to not disturb the natural environment, other guests, or neighbouring properties. Please do not disturb wildlife. GARDENS - Guest access to our seasonal vegetable garden and orchard are welcomed. Please observe signage and close gates after entering the area. We encourage you to pick fruit, vegetables, and herbs for use during your stay. Please only take what you need (eg. Pick lettuce leaves, do not pick a whole lettuce.) You will meet our team of duck’s aka “pest control” in these areas. They do a wonderful job of keeping bugs at bay. Please do not chase or pick them up. ANIMALS - Access to animals is provided for guest enjoyment and at the guest’s own risk. Animals can be unpredictable, and it is necessary to remain alert around the animals, always supervising your minors, including at animal feeding times with Seven Peaks. Crossing fences and gates into the animal paddocks is not permitted. Seven Peaks animals are housed by fences that can be electric or barbed wire. Guests should exercise care around these fences and children should be supervised when in these areas. Seven Peaks is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all animals in our care. All guests are required to treat animals with respect and to follow instructions given by staff and signage on how to interact with the animals onsite. Children are not permitted to enter the enclosures without an adult and a Seven Peaks staff member being present. An adult must be physically present with children beside or inside the enclosure to ensure the safe treatment of those animals and adherence to the respective rules which include: - No picking up of animals. - No running or jumping around near the enclosures as this may scare the animals. Any guest that displays behaviour that involves the mistreatment of any of Seven Peaks animals may be restricted from involvement in animal related activities. Seven Peaks reserves the right to request any person to leave the property who persists in such behaviour. Some dangerous animals/creatures you may encounter are snakes, spiders, ticks. Interaction with all animals is entirely at the risk of the guest. First Aid and Snake Bite Kits are available at Reception. In case of an emergency call ‘000’
